ToneTron Amplifiers are designed and handmade, primarily with hand tools, by Jeffrey Falla in Minneapolis, MN.  From the solid wood cabinet to the hand-fashioned chassis to the hand-wired circuitry, each amplifier is constructed methodically, professionally, and with the utmost care.  Circuits are based on the standard platform models listed below and designed according to the guitarist's request. Note that ToneTone Amplifiers manufactures a limited number of amps, primarily custom builds by special request.

Prices
Wattage listed for each model is an estimation and various according to design features such as type of biasing method.

* Extra gain stage is standard on these models (chassis switch added upon request); available on all models for $125 (chassis switch) or $200 (footswitch feature in addition to chassis switch).  For stock gain-stage models, add $100 for footswitch feature.

Price estimates are for combos with Jensen C12Q speakers (C12N for 50-watt P/P) or Eminence Legend series.
Add $75 for any amp using Jensen P12Q alnico instead of C12Q. Other speaker types are also available at additional cost.

All builds include choice of tone stacks: Single Tone control with low insertion loss for high gain; Dual band – Treble and Bass controls for thick midrange, extremely interactive; Triple band – Treble, Midrange, and Bass controls, highly versatile with deep mid-scooping potential.  Baxandall-type (i.e., Ampeg-like) tone stack also available.

Custom Builds
     All ToneTron Amps are custom builds.  Tube variations of standard ToneTron platform models are also welcome.  Variations, for example, include EF86 pentode rather than 12AX7 triode for preamp tube; or 5881/6L6 for 50-watt model.  Added price depends on variation.

Speaker cabinets are available only with the purchase of a head or combo and include:
     Jensen C12Q  1 x 12”  35-watt (1 35-watt speakers) . . . $200
     Jensen C12N  2 x 12”  100-watt (2 50-watt speakers) . . $325
     Jensen MOD 12-50  2 x 12” 100-watt . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $275
